About DNBTA
Our Origin
The Delhi NCR Boro Thunlai Afad (DNBTA) was formed to preserve and promote the language, literature and culture of the great Boro Hari (Boro People). On 1st October 2023, Boro intellectuals and social activists gathered at Bodoland Bhawan, Dwarka Sector 18/A, New Delhi to formally constitute the organization.
Delhi NCR region has seen an increasing population of Boro professionals working in various government establishments and private companies. The number of Boro students and teachers in different educational institutions across the capital region has grown exponentially. However, children born in Boro families in Delhi NCR often do not get the opportunity to learn the Boro language — it is in this context that DNBTA was founded.
